Third party fire and theft car insurance provides the same cover as third party car insurance as well as extra cover for fire and theft.
Third party fire and theft car insurance is sometimes only slightly more expensive than a third party policy, so it is often worth considering paying a little more for the extra protection.

When to use Third Party Fire and Theft Insurance
Quite often there is only a small difference in premium between third party fire and theft and third party cover, however third party car insurance can work out a lot cheaper if a car is modified - Please see Declaring Modifications for more details.
Please Note: Some insurers will not offer third party cover so third party fire and theft should be their lowest priced policy.
